Lizzy - Marine Life Rescue and Rehabilitation

I am very interested in the field of Marine Rescue and Rehabilitation. I would love to one day soon work in this field and to create better lives for the marine life out there. I had the amazing opportunity to shadow at Marineland located in St. Augustine, Fl earlier this year. I am hoping to find out from them if there is anyway I can again and perhaps be able to interview those who work in the department I am interested in. I would love to find out what kind of animal reports they get, how often these reports come in, and what the injuries to the animals often are. As well as what preventatives people can take. I am hoping to learn much more about this field and what the real life of it looks like from the inside. However, I am not sure on a scientific question to put with this.

The following are two examples of graphs I may use throughout my project to better understand how and where the animals are reported and for what reasons. As well to better look at what kind of animals are being reported and why.

  1. Lizzy--do you have any GIS software experience? If you do, please contact me ASAP. A project just fell into my lap that you might be interested in.
