Jeffrey_Design stages

This week I took a look at some other styles of helical turbines. The helical design is the most efficient design for our purposes as it requires the least amount of energy to run. I have found some designs that only require 1 m/s of current; however, they are cost prohibitive.
This model requires 1.5 m/s of  current and will produce 120A-h/day.  










 This is a hydrocoil and I will be gathering specs this week and sharing them.








Below is the first design for our current flow measuring device. (cfmd) Next step: hardware store. Prototype to follow!

  1. Ok so...I'm sold on the top model. Looking at the dudes in this display--I can't post what I'm thinking (LOL)---head just spinning wildly :-) Will discuss with you in person...
