Cynthia UR Nature Bound

I am disappointed, some things just require time you won’t have in a semester. Pushing on, because there is always more.
I’m not one to write what isn't pertinent to say, but perhaps a few lines that encourage others not to give up maybe in order.
Sometimes, we accept a plan we know nothing about in hopes we will learn what will make it a desirable concept. When we leave ourselves open to possibilities anything can happen, and I think maybe it will.
My IRP will examine to what extent seawater maybe anthropologically effected by a heavily suburban populated area. Raising microorganisms in samples taken from four sites along the east coast of Florida and the use of information by those scientists whom conducted experiments already and shared the results. They will be identified and differences recorded.
I will share if what you can’t see may harm you.
It will be a surprise like the sudden appearance of a Ghost Crab.

  1. Cynthia--I'm baffled by your post. What does a ghost crab have to do with the project we discussed today? And we're not looking at bacteria--we are looking at plankton. Please clarify...

  2. I should've shared some of the things I read with you before posting.... Plankton (algae) is still of interest to me as well.

    2. ...wait--I think I see you've removed the reference to bacteria from your post(?)

    3. I have removed bacteria from post, however an still interested in what storm water may bring to the samples.
I would like to test after a rain and the addition of storm drain waters. It will be difficult at best to test all I would like.
